Valhallacon this weekend.
I’m heading up to Bellingham after work today to attend Valhallacon.
I also got my copy edits in the mail yesterday for BLACK BLADE BLUES. Will work them in the cracks.
Monday, however… all day copy edit extravaganza. First set for me, and I needed a bit of a tutorial from the esteemable Jay Lake. Thanks, sir.
Another milestone on the path to see this book in print, and on my career overall. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, or unlearn something assumed incorrectly.
Hope to see some or all of you at the convention. Nancy Kress is the guest of honor. If you are unfamiliar with her work, you are missing out. Not only do I love her writing, but she’s an amazing teacher of writing as well. I had the pleasure of co-piloting a writers workshop with her at World con in Montreal this year and I learned a ton.

Have fun! I might come up for a day but I think I need the down time worse…I’m a bit wiped.
Have fun with your copy-edits. Don’t forget who’s the writer (I do reject comments) but boy, do copy editors ever save me from time to time.

It was great seeing you yesterday. Con went well. I found the panels I attended really held my attention. Worth the trip.
