Is there anything sweeter than typing “The End”?
With a heavy sigh of relief, and a quiet sense of accomplishment, I’m happy to report I have finished writing this book. First readers, beware.
This is the third installment in the Sarah Beauhall/Black Blade series and I’m feeling mighty.
It’s a draft, so I know I need to go back and fix stuff I’m not aware of yet (again, first readers beware) but I am happy.
Now, if I had a title that sang in my head as well as the titles for books 1 and 2, I’d be truly content.
I think to celebrate, I’ll drive over to the local B&N and sign the Black Blade Blues mass market paperbacks that came in. Maybe I’ll also watch a movie.
or pay my bills
or do my taxes
or, you know, shoot mutants in Fallout Three: New Vegas. At least for a little while.
Yeah, definitely shooting mutants…
