Book tour, day 2
Last night’s event at University Bookstore was great. Good crowd, sold a good amount of books. Dinner before hand was fun. All in all, a very successful launch. I’m pleased with the community I’ve found myself in. Such amazing people.
I’m almost packed to start the second leg. In an hour or so, I’ll be heading to the airport to fly to San Diego. I’ll be hanging with one of my oldest friends today and having dinner with his family tonight. Tomorrow he and I will run around San Diego. Should be a great time. We may hit a movie, but will definitely hit a game store. Probably the one right down from Mysterious Galaxies bookstore.
Dinner tomorrow night at Players in the same plaza around 5pm. It’s an open dinner, so anyone who is so inclined to come out is welcome. No idea how much space is available, but I’ve eaten at Players before and the food is good. Then I’m off to Mysterious Galaxy bookstore at 7pm for my signing.
I had the good fortune to visit Mysterious Galaxy last fall when I was down there for World Fantasy convention. Excellent bookstore. They had a wonderful selection and the staff was amazing. I very much love book folks. My first job was in a bookstore, so they are near and dear to my heart. Friendly and knowledgeable staff makes all the difference. I hope I see some of you there tomorrow evening.
