Meet an awesome blacksmith and help him take it to the next level

One of the perks of being a published author is you get to meet awesome people.  I’ve only met Lynden Lowery through email, but I’m pleased to know him.

He’s a working bladesmith who read Black Blade Blues and felt compelled to email me about the book.  He gave me some pointers on my descriptions of smithing and praised the books.  It’s great to be contacted by fans, and to learn they have their own creative streak.  Lyndon hands out at Comicon in Houston and is even working on his own writing.

Want to see the smithy he shares with his buddy Chris?  Check out the site where they make things with fire.  It’s very cool.

They are trying to raise money to take the smithy to the next level.  I’m gonna donate here.  If you like supporting small business folk and creative types, this is a double win.

Give them a look.  It’s free.  If you are so inclined, toss them a few dollars.

You’ll never regret paying it forward.
